Richard Preston is a 55 year old resident of Baltimore, MD and was a founder and Imperial Wizard of the Confederate White Knights, a group promoting Christian values dedicated to service, fraternity, and community. Preston attended UTR in Charlottesville, VA as a member of a militia to protect the rally participants. During the encounter with counter-protestor Corey Long, who was directing an improvised flamethrower at participants as they were attempting to leave Lee Park, Preston produced his handgun, discharging it into the ground as a warning to Long. Mr. Preston stated during his trial “Someone had to stop that flamethrower.”
He pled no contest to a charge of discharging a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school. He received a sentence of four years and is an inmate at Coffeywood Correctional Center in VA.
Richard is able to receive Prison Commissary.
A prison commissary is a store within a correctional facility, from which inmates may purchase products such as hygiene items, snacks, writing instruments, etc.
Helping keep an inmate's commissary loaded up is a great way to show that you care. It can help them purchase the stamps, newspapers, and other items that help them connect with and keep up with the outside world.
